10:19 am	time for 5 minutes of hate -yay! OMG- I hear that freedom of expression (or in this case, doing nothing remotely border-line) was pretty cool back in the day. I mean apprently incitement is going back to the standard of puritan times. 2:44 pm	get them while they're legal...... Wow...so Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, the first woman to serve on the high court announced her resignation today. She served as the swing vote in several abortion-related cases in which abortion rights were narrowly re-affirmed. The possible replacements they are talking about on cnn are mostly pretty dismal if you care about women's issues/abortion rights, right to privacy, or seperation of church and state. I only hope we will be less apathetic politically than we have been the last few years and question the choices.... *crosses fingers and sighs* I really had hoped she wouldn't resign during Bush's Presidency. :( Current Mood: worried (3 Comments |Comment on this)

3:32 am	if you don't want to see the movie.... Here is an awsome link to 'troy in 15 minutes' that sums up the movie. -very funny http://www.livejournal.com/users/cleolinda/99710.html I personally didn't like the movie because I was cringing the whole time due to the HUGE changes (people dying/not dying) and the fact that there was no context really...they could have explained the motivation of the characters some- the only character they flesh out is achilles..and he is supposed to be just about fighting, killing, fucking, and glory. I think the mini-series for tv "Helen of Troy" was much better all around (I rented it with Anna after seeing Troy to compare). 3:27 am	**slaps hand**....bad amber! note to self: don't wait until the night before to study for your finals....please remember how painful and bad this feel right now.... midterm in t-minus 10 hours....half done, nap maybe?
